American Clinic Under Steroid Investigation

Category: Steroid News

Phoenix has recently come under a lot of media attention following the use of anabolic steroids in the police force, now a medical clinic is under investigation for illegally prescribing anabolic steroids and other performance enhancing drugs.

In the United States, the use and possession of anabolic steroids is illegal without a valid doctors prescription. These prescription are only handed out to treat or cure and not intended for the purpose of performance enhancing or recreational use.

Revolution Medical Centre in East Phoenix was stung by an undercover operation pulled off by reporters in April this year. The undercover reporters were able to purchase $2000 worth of anabolic steroids and human growth hormone from the clinic without any medical need for the drugs.

The clinic has since been forced to close due to the intense media coverage and the fact that reports of three deaths this year are linked by steroids purchased from the same Revolution Medical Centre.

The clinic and some of the practicing Doctors are under federal investigation over the incidents as well as the State Chiropractic and Naturopathic Boards.

Steroids should not be abused considering the harsh side effects. Legal steroid alternatives like Pro Anabolic are safe and can deliver results on par with anabolic steroids.

Beijing Doping Still Being Uncovered.

Months after the Beijing Olympics, the International Olympic Committee has announced that a further three athletes have been found guilty of doping violations and disqualified accordingly.

Vadim Devyatovskiy and Ivan Tsikhan, both from Belarus have tested positive for abnormally high levels of testosterone, which is used to increase protein synthesis and increases strength and power.

Polish canoeist Adam Seroczynski, was disqualified after been found to use the anabolic steroid, Clenbuterol, which is mainly used for weight loss.

The two Belarusian athletes will have their medals stripped from them after using performance enhancing drugs to cheat their competitors in the hammer throw. Devyatovskiy’s silver medal has now been handed over to Krisztian Pars and Tsikhan’s bronze will go to Japan’s Koji Murofushi.

Devyatoskiy’s penalty could be as harsh as a lifetime ban from the sport after taking into account this being his second doping violation.

This brings the total count of doping infringements for the 2008 Olympic games to nine, which is expected to rise after the IOC carryout retrospective testing for CERA in 2009. Drugs like Dianabol seem to be a thing of the past, athletes are now looking for new, undetectable ways of cheating the sport which creates a whole new level of testing by the IOC.

Can Steroids Shrink Testes?

Category: Steroid News

The human body has always functioned best during a state called homeostasis, which basically means being in a balanced hormonal state. This state of hormonal equilibrium exists in most humans and can be put out of sync by the use of external, synthetic hormones, as used in steroid cycles.

During the cycle, there is an hormonal imbalance due to the surplus synthetic hormone from an outside source. This external hormone is beyond the normal level of testosterone and so the body compensates by stopping its own endogenous production in the testes.

A string of chemical processes provide feedback throughout the body informing the testes to cease production in order to compensate the vast amounts of synthetic hormones obtained via the steroids.

This halt in natural testosterone production puts the testes into a state of production limbo, and the actual size of the testes is likely to shrink. This may cause concern to the steroid user as the testicles may seem massively undersized and frighteningly small.

Most steroid users find marble sized testicles quite troubling and so avoiding stronger aromatizing compounds like Dianabol and Anadrol 50. These steroids are stronger, more estrogenic and androgenic is this regard so avoiding steroids for sale like these may preserve testicle size to a higher degree.

Lets not forget that any anabolic steroid, when taken in doses to promote muscular gains, will suppress endogenous testosterone production. Pro Anabolic promotes muscle growth and protein synthesis while maintaining a hormonal balance without causing shrinkage of the testes.

Man With Steroids for Sale gets 22 Years

Category: Steroid News

An American man was sentenced to 22 years in prison by a federal judge in New Haven after being found guilty of manufacturing steroids and selling steroids online.

In the U.K, it is illegal to buy steroids and sell steroids, but the use of such substances, without a prescription is allowed. This is not the same in the United States where simple possession without a prescription can land you in trouble with the law.

Edwin Porter was convicted to 22 years after admitting purchasing more than a kilogram of raw steroid powder from China, manufacturing anabolic steroids and selling them online.

Porter, along with two others from the Arizona area, manufactured the anabolic steroids in underground labs and had planned to distribute the goods via an online website and through a newly created Myspace profile, Anabolic-ss.

The fact that the trio had planned to sell the steroids via the web, turned this case into a federal matter and as such, sentencing was carried out by a federal judge.

The investigation into the manufacturing and distribution of anabolic steroids was carried out by the FBI in an initiative that targets sites that sell anabolic steroids over the web without a prescription or doctors consultation.

Montgomery Admits Steroid Use

Former sprinter Tim Montgomery, currently serving time behind bars for heroin dealing and cheque fraud, has admitted that he used anabolic steroids and HGH (Human Growth Hormone) in the build up to the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

Montgomery announced, in an interview for HBO, that during his preparations for the Sydney games, that he used testosterone and HGH four times a month to get himself into shape.

In September 2002, Montgomery broke the world record over 100 meters by slashing the record time by 0.01 seconds to 9.78 seconds.

This record was stripped from the sprinter following implications of his involvement in the Balco Labs steroid scandal. Although he never tested positive for the use of anabolic steroids, press reports state that he and a host of other prominent athletes were obtaining drugs from the Balco Laboratories in San Francisco where they had steroids for sale.

Not only did he have his records and titles stripped as a result of the Balco incident, but Montgomery received a two year ban from professional sports prompting his retirement from athletics.

Montgomery is currently serving more than 8 eight years ion jail following his involvement in a $775,000 cheque fraud scam and for selling more than 100 grams of heroin in the Virginia Beach area.

He was also involved with former sprinter Marion Jones. Jones, who was also indicted in the Balco Labs case, now has a child with Tim but the pair are no longer together.

It appears that the disgraced sprinter is now ready to hand over his medals won during the Sydney games.

“I have a gold medal that I’m sitting on that I didn’t get with my own ability … I’m not here to take away from anybody else’s accomplishments, only my own. I apologize to the other people that was on the relay team if that was to happen.”

It remain open as to whether the IOC will strip the rest of the relay team of their gold medals also.

Steroids smuggled as ‘Gay Lube Oil’

Category: Steroid News

The extents some people will go to for that extra muscle has reached new levels in Australia. Laws in Australia make it illegal to import, sell, buy and posses any steroids or performance enhancing drugs without the proper licence.

Two men have recently been charged in Brisbane Magistrates Court after customs launched separate investigations into steroid smuggling into Australia

James Groves was found guilty of guilty of attempting to import steroids on five separate occasions, with the last attempt made with the steroids put in tins and labelled as nuts.

The new level for steroid smuggling has been set by 25-year-old Clifford James Shawcross from Queensland. Shawcross saw steroids for sale over the internet and attempted to smuggle them in Australia in concealed consignments. Disguised and labelled as “Gay Lube Oil”, the steroids were discovered by customers and initiated proceedings.

The substance, labelled as sexual lubrication, was tested and proven to be illegal performance or image enhancing drugs.

This may seem like a bit of a joke, but believe me, the punishments are far from funny. Shawcross from Queensland was convicted and ordered to pay $3500 in fines and court costs for attempting to import steroids

Mr Groves pleaded guilty to five charges of importing a prohibited import without a permit in breach of section 233 (1) (b) of the Customs Act 1901, and one charge of possession of a prohibited import, namely steroids, without permission.

Let this be an example to those with steroids for sale in Australia. This goes to show how seriously customs treat steroid smuggling.

For those in Australia looking to increase size and strength, it seems as if the consequences of looking to buy steroids or importing steroids are far more serious than expected. Pro Anabolic is a legal alternative that promotes lean muscle and strength gains without the legal implications of steroids.

Police using Steroids

Category: Steroid News

Reports from the United States reveal how a Canby City police official has been placed on administrative leave after allegations surfaced over the officers use of anabolic steroids.

The reports surfaced when The Oragonian alleged that a separate police organisation tipped off Police Chief Greg Kroeplin that one of his officers had gone to a drug dealers house to buy steroids, whilst on duty.

It has been mentioned that Kroeplin may have ignored the evidence implicating one of his officers. Evidence that Jason Deason was buying and using drugs such as anabolic steroids.

The benefits that are provided by the use of steroids are of obvious desire to a member of the police force. Increases strength, increased size and muscle mass are traits being chased by officers like Deason.

But the most worrying point of view is to consider is way in which steroids are able to affect not just the physical aspect of the user, but the mental state also. The term ‘roid rage’ is associated with the use of steroids as often users are unable to control their aggression in stressful times. Not ideal for an officer of the law.

Deason was a well-known motorcycle cop and the informant claimed that Deason would often drive over in uniform to pick up the drugs.

The FBI have been investigating the matter after the informant was arrested in July after raiding his house to find canisters of anabolic steroids.

An investigation will now take place by an independent third party into whether the allegations are true and the course of action to follow.

“The city understands the importance that the community maintains the trust in the integrity of the Canby Police Department that it has worked so long and hard to earn over the years. To this end, the city administrator has ordered that the personnel investigation be carried out by an independent third-party entity as soon as possible,” according to the release.

Local residents seem to be disappointed in the so called ‘protectors’ of the community and urge in future to lead by example.

Italian Cyclist Appeals Ban

Category: Steroid News

The Italian cyclist Riccardo Ricco, recently banned for two years, has appealed his two-year ban to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Ricco tested positive for CERA, an advanced version of blood booster EPO, after winning two stages of this years tour.

After the results came through, Ricco admitted using performance enhancing drugs and was hoping for a reduction in the ban. It was reduced by 6 months, however, it was then extended by 6 months due to him seeing a physician who had already been banned for doping violations.

The ban is currently not due to expire until July 2010, leaving him out of the current Tour and the future events in the next two years.

Another positive test after this would most likely result in a life long ban from competitive sports. Substances like CERA, dianabol and HGM are banned and should not be used by any competing athlete.

Anabolic Steroids Found in UFC

There has been a media frenzy surrounding the steroid use at the Olympics this year in Beijing, not only the steroid use but the administration of steroid testing itself has come under question. We have since witnessed report of steroid use in the NFL, Major League Soccer and now the UFC has found use of anabolic steroids amongst the fighters of UFC 89.

Chis leben, born Portland, Oregon, tested positive for the use of the anabolic steroid Stanozolol, commonly referred to as Winstrol.

Winstrol is commonly used by bodybuilders in the cutting phase of their training as it has a low estrogenic conversion rate meaning minimal water and fat retention, ideal for the performing athlete.

A random drugs test taken after Leben was defeated by Michael Bisping during UFC 89 showed a positive test for the banned substance and means that Chris will receive a nine month suspension along with a fine of one third his fight earnings.

All fighters may be required to take a random drugs test and it has been said that of all fighters tested that night in England, Leben was the only positive result.

This proves that all athletes, no matter from what sport, need to stay clear of steroids for sale as there seems no way around the random drugs tests. If only Chris Leben had been pointed in the direction of Pro Anabolic, the legal and safe steroid alternative.

Anabolic Steroids Ban

“Pro Anabolic™ is Proven, 100 % Legal and Completely Safe alternative to steroids.”

The steroid craze that has hit the UK has seen a massive rise in the number of young professionals taking the drug as a short cut to getting the perfect body. Years ago we only saw aspiring bodybuilders and athletes using the drugs, whereas in today’s world, we have seen children as young as 11 using anabolic steroids to improve their physique .

Official figures released by the British Crime Survey of 2006-07 estimate that 32,000 people have used steroids in the previous year. A separate survey carried out by the Department of Health indicated a steady rise in the use of anabolic steroids by young people between 2001-2006.

The Government has tried to signal some intent over their view on the use of anabolic steroids by adding another 26 substances, commonly used as muscle building drugs, to the list of controlled substances. This is in addition to the list which contains around 60 banned anabolic steroids already.

To buy steroids in this country is illegal without a prescription. It is also illegal to sell steroids without a licence or to import them for supply to someone else. Steroids fall under the Class C category and can result in up to a 14 year prison sentence for supply.
