Methylandrostenediol is an anabolic steroid derived from dihydrotestosterone. The steroid for sale comes in two forms, oral and injectable. The oral version is unspecified, whereas the injectable version comes as an esterified form which extends the release time of the drug upon administration.

The added propionate esters in the injectable form extend the activity of the drug for several days meaning injections are less frequently administered. Doses in oral form are generally in the range of 25-50mg per day and the injectable version around 200-400mg per week.

This steroid is often considered too weak a muscle building agent to be taken seriously by bodybuilders. It is used in certain bulking phases but due to the estrogenic activity present, this is not ideal in the slightest for cutting phases.

Suppression of endogenous testosterone production is likely when steroids are taken in doses large enough to promote muscular gains. Therefore careful attention needs to be given to bring natural testosterone levels back to normal as quick as possible.

Liver hepatotoxicity is likely as methylandrostenediol is a c17-alpha alkylated compound. Cycles are note generally administered for longer than 6-8 weeks to avoid liver damage.

This steroid is not generally found outside Australia where it is found in veterinary preparations so black market copies will be hard to locate.
